 As you might have guessed this post is about Blair Waldorf, from the popular tv series Gossip Girl (www.cwtv.com). From all the fictional characters that have been portrait in tv series she is by far my favorite. Undoubtedly she is a fashion icon, her preppy style has won over fans from around the world. I am totally obsessed with the way she carries out bold colors and looks so elegant, cause lets be honest everyone looks good in black. Of course there is also her attention in accessorising and her choices of very feminine statement pieces even for daywear that make her stand out. Another thing i love about her is that she enjoys dressing for every occasion in an old school way which i find short of surrealistic and therefore adore. But the real reason people relate to her i believe is the apparent conflict she has throughout the show between the person she believes she should be , the one she have to be and well herself! She always wants to be strong and independent  and suffers when her weaknesses become evident. Though she looks rather old fashioned she is a girl of our times, ambitious and struggling to achieve her goals in life. Of course a girl like that is not going to fall for an ordinary guy, therefor she falls in love with Chuck Bass with whom she indulges in an epic love story.
